Guarded by the impressive Leogang Rocky Mountains, our lake house, the Seehaus, has found its place right in the middle of the Forsthofgut garden, surrounded by meadows and forests. This house, an extension of the waldSPA, is in a unique location: one that creates freedom and helps you find inner harmony. The Seehaus at the Forsthofgut in Leogang also includes the lake pool: this infinity pool seems to merge straight into the large bathing lake. The 33°C warm water entices you to swim. And if you prefer to relax in the lake pool, you can settle down on the whirl loungers with a view of the Rocky Mountains.
The bathing lake is the heart of our 30,000 m² Forsthofgut garden: it surrounds the new Seehaus and the Onsen Pool and is lined with relaxation islands and soft sun loungers. From spring to fall, the bathing lake promises soothing refreshment on warm sunny days. And even in winter, the natural plunge pool is waiting to cool you down after a sauna session.

Our Onsen Pool is inspired by the traditional bathhouses of Japan: According to Far Eastern tradition, it is 42°C and the hot vapors provide a soothing spa atmosphere. The onsen rituals such as washing before each bath are also part of the bathing culture: at Naturhotel Forsthofgut we have adapted these rituals and offer our own peelings tailored to your skin type.

For the "birch ritual" in the Finnish lakeside sauna, we provide birch branches from the local forests, which you can use to exfoliate your skin and stimulate blood circulation. The birch branches have anti-inflammatory and soothing effects on mild skin irritations. In addition, their tannins soften the skin and the essential oils of the branches provide deep relaxation.
